1.   Using XP Publisher, create a flyer/poster to advertise the important information about the dance.
2.   Spell Check.
3.   Get permission before printing.

ASSIGNMENT #4: Word Formatting

1. Open XP Word

2. Click on Desktop --> (S:)Cherokee Shared --> Handouts --> Fogell TECH --> Formatting a Word Document

3. Do the work on the document

4. Save

5. Upload the document at Scribd

6. Get the embed code to paste into a blog post.

ASSIGNMENT #3: Wordle

1. Highlight and copy your word list.
2. Paste it in the box at Wordle.
3. Hit GO
4. Experiment with the features until the word cloud looks good to you.

1. Use the PRINT SCREEN (or PrtSc) key to take a picture of your Wordle on the Internet.

2. Paste the in-cyberspace image into a Word document.

3.    Crop.
4.    File --> Page setup --> Landscape (to change the direction of the paper to match your wordle direction).
5.    Resize and stretch to fit the entire space.
6.    SAVE using a name that matches the project - Wordle!

7. Upload at Scribd to get embed code.

8. Paste embed code into blog post.

9. Add a title.

10. Publish Post.

ASSIGNMENT #2: Secret Code Sheet

Visit Welcome to the Web:

1. Click: "The Beginning"
2. Click: "Next" three times
3. Click: "Secret Code Sheet"
4. Edit --> Select All --> Edit --> Copy
5. Open a Word document --> right click & paste the Secret Code Sheet
6. Go back to Welcome to the Web --> back button --> click on the spider at the top of your screen
7. Click: "The Beginning"
8. At the end of that section you will see a CODE. Copy/paste that into the correct box on your Secret Code sheet.
9. Save the document.
